Abstract
Covariance modeling techniques were used to test the assumption of gro up invariance of the Brown Locus of Control Scale (BLOCS) by comparing results from two different populations; American and Kuwaiti adult wo men. Results provide support for the hypothesis that the validity of t he locus of control construct could be generalized to different cultur al groups with some caveats.
