Abstract
Our experimental data on the thermal conductivity of ternary semicondu ctors demonstrate that, just as in binary and elemental semiconductors, the phonon contribution is governed by crystal structure and chemical bonding, and correlates to microhardness, melting temperature, Debye temperature, thermal expansion coefficient, average atomic weight, and the ratio of ionic radii.
