Abstract
Li1+xV3O8 powders and films were prepared by the sol-gel process from alkoxides. Single-phase crystalline powders are formed at 300 degrees C from amorphous precipitates isolated after hydrolysis of alkoxides i n solution. The powders annealed at different temperatures were charac terized by electron microscopy, Electrical conductivity of Li1+xV3O8 c eramics was measured. Heat-treatment conditions were optimized to obta in crystalline textured films, and film morphology was studied.
