Abstract
Isolated cluster molecules on the surface of highly oriented pyrolytic graphite were imaged by scanning tunneling microscopy, and their curr ent-voltage characteristics were measured for the first time. Cluster molecules were either deposited from solution or assembled in situ fro m an Ag-n metallic core and PPh(3) ligands.
