Abstract
The non-linear optical crystals CsTiOAsO4 (CTA) and RbTiOAsO4 (RTA) we re grown from self-fluxes at high temperatures. High temperature X-ray diffraction data were compared with data from thermometric analysis. CTA undergoes a decomposition at 925 degrees C, a temperature substant ially below the decomposition temperatures of RTA and KTP.
