Abstract
Ceramic samples of compositions from all the categories of possible ni ckel-containing perovskites were investigated by X-ray diffraction. Pr omising compositions were melted in a radio frequency (RF) furnace, bu t the evaporation of nickel oxide makes them unsuitable for Czochralsk i growth.
