Abstract
Synthesized indigo and 6,6'-dibromoindigo are found to grow epitaxiall y by vacuum deposition on the (110) surface of polyethylene. The latti ce orientation, the position of planar molecules, and the growth direc tion of these crystals on the substrates are elucidated.
