Abstract
Nuclear radiation detectors consisting of CdTe single crystals doped w ith Cl are examined. The ability to use the detectors as beta-spectrom eters operating at room temperature in the presence of a significant g amma-background is demonstrated. An uncooled spectrometric counter for alpha-, beta-, and gamma-radiation can be fabricated on the basis of one detector.
