Abstract
This article presents a method of introducing students to research slo wly and carefully. A process of integrating research into the curricul um at all levels of higher education is stressed; this approach decrea ses fear and avoidance. Enthusiasm and enjoyment are facilitated throu gh close collaboration of students and faculty in the research process .
