Abstract
This paper deal with the main aspects of the analysis of oxysterols. T his analytical problem is quite new and many questions involved are st ill controversial. Consequently, many methodologies exist that still n eed improvement and standarization. Therefore, it is interesting to di scuss the analytical methodologies proposed by different authors for t he extraction, purification and determination (gas chromatography and high performance liquid chromatography) of oxysterols.
