A great deal of research and national discussion recently has focused
on three areas of reform: school reform, community services reform, an
d health we reform Yet, few have talked about how these three reform a
reas interface, or how this interface can be strategically and organiz
ationally planned toward more effective and efficient services for chi
ldren and youth An organizational and planning methodology that coordi
nates these three reform areas into a unified, interdependent process
is described, followed by a discussion of some lessons learned from pa
st school, community, and health care reform efforts. Finally, some sp
ecial challenges for school psychology are addressed.
