Abstract
This article highlights an individual management development plan (IMD P) that public sector organizations may use to increase the effectiven ess and success of their management development efforts. The IMDP disc ussion in this article also incorporates lessons learned from the tool s, techniques and programs developed to date in the management develop ment area.
