Abstract
This study examined differences between Wechsler Intelligence Scale fo r Children-Third Edition (WISC-III) and Wechsler intelligence Scale fo r Children-Revised (WISC-R) scores for 40 students with learning disab ilities (LD) at the time of their triennial reevaluations. WISC-III Fu ll Scale, Verbal, and Performance IQs were significantly lower than co mparable WISC-R IQs by approximately one-third to one-half of a standa rd deviation. Correlations among the IQ scores were moderate to modera tely strong. Implications of these findings for LD reevaluations are d iscussed.
