Abstract
The criterion-related validity of the situational (SI) and patterned b ehavior description interview regarding organizational citizenship beh avior (OCB) of university faculty members (n = 47) was investigated. O nly the SI correlated significantly with peer ratings of two dimension s of OCB, namely OCB directed towards the organization (r = .50) and O CB directed at individuals inside the organization (r = .30).
