Abstract
We present results from seven patients with closed mid-shaft tibial fr actures and question the hypothesis that transverse wave response rati o analysis could be used to assess the progress of healing fractures. No correlation could be found between the response ratio and the post- facture time as an indicator of bone fracture healing.
