TECHNOLOGY FOR PERSONS WITH LEARNING-DISABILITIES - REPORT ON AN INTERNATIONAL-SYMPOSIUM

In July of 1993 an international symposium on ''Technology for Persons with Learning Disabilities'' was held in Missillac, France. The purpo se of the symposium was to bring together an international panel of ex perts in learning disabilities and technology to promote international dialogue and cooperation; identify technologies/technological approac hes for enhancing the lives of persons with learning disabilities; and establish a series of research priorities. This article synthesizes a nd highlights the information, ideas, and issues that emerged from ind ividual presentations and ensuing discussions.
