Abstract
Mixed Langmuir films in which behenic acid and glucose oxidase are ass ociated have been transferred by vertical or horizontal lifting method s onto pyrolytic graphite. The resulting films have been compared by s canning electron microscopy and by scanning force microscopy. The stru ctures observed at the microscopic scale are different for the two tra nsfer techniques in terms of homogeneity, dimensions and orientations. At a nanoscopic scale however, the organization of enzyme molecules i s quite analogous in both cases.
