Abstract
The electric conductivity of indium-doped cadmium telluride (CdTe) in the temperature range 600-1080 degrees C was 163 to 1203 Omega(-1)m(-1 ). In-situ monitoring of vertical Bridgman-Stockbarger growth showed a n unexpected step change in the voltage response vs height. Differenti al thermal analysis of CdTe showed both Cd and. Te melting peaks as we ll as an exothermic reaction above 790 degrees C.
