Abstract
Studies of hydrated specimens have been performed with the x-ray micro scope at the BESSY electron storage ring with an x-ray optical arrange ment comprising a high resolution x-ray objective with an annular phas e plate. Phase contrast images of hydrated specimens with increased im age contrast and reduced dosage have been taken in agreement with theo retical considerations.
