Abstract
In many branches of the process industry of multiphase flows, the onli ne control of flow and corrosion parameters is important. For the dete rmination of particle rate, flow velocity and corrosion rate three nov el kinds of electrochemical-physical sensors have been developed and t ested. The principles are based on amperometric measurements, limiting current and polarization resistance measurements. The sensors have be en optimized with regard to their application under practice-orientate d conditions and tested in technical flow loops.
