Je. Mcgee et al., COOPERATIVE STRATEGY AND NEW VENTURE PERFORMANCE - THE ROLE OF BUSINESS STRATEGY AND MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE, Strategic management journal, 16(7), 1995, pp. 565-580
This paper reports the results of a study of new ventures which examin
e the relationships between performance and the experience of a new ve
nture's management team, its choice of competitive strategy, and its u
se of various cooperative arrangements. The findings of the moderated
regression analysis indicate that cooperative arrangements are most be
neficial to those new ventures whose management teams possess the most
experience.
