Abstract
This investigation could show, that irradiation treatment of nuts by a nalyzing irradiated induced hydrocarbons works perfectly by the proced ure 35 LMBG L 06.00.37. For the detection of hydrocarbons we suggest t o use a GC/MS-system, because it is nessesary to confirm a positive re sult by a mass-spectrum. Irradiated material is detected if the follow ing hydrocarbons are present: 1,7-16.2, 8-17:1.6,9-17:2.
