Abstract
Traditionally, researchers have analyzed mixed factorial designs by di chotomizing the continuous variable and performing a factorial analysi s of variance. Several problems surround the use of this approach, pro mpting many statisticians to recommend using moderated multiple regres sion as an alternative. This article presents the case for moderated m ultiple regression and provides an overview of the procedure.
