Fatty acid composition of total and apolar lipids from livers of Iberi
an pigs were determined. Animals were fed on diets of pasture and acor
ns (''montanera''), acorns and cereals (''recebo'') or cereals (''pien
so''). Significative differences (p < 0.05) in fatty acid composition
due to feeding system were found in both total and apolar lipids. Step
wise Discriminant and Canonical Variates Analysis of data permited a g
ood partition of samples among the three differents diet studied.
