Abstract
In this paper, the surface of meshing of an archimedean spiroid gear i s described. Conditions for an existence of ordinary nodes and points of undercutting in the region of meshing are briefly discussed. A prog ram system for finding out the contact lines and for testing of the ki nd of the contact points is constructed. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd .
