Abstract
A logistical flow of materials in which processes are optimized with a n adequate number of correctly positioned measurement and control stat ions is the basis of product and process quality, of quantity structur es, of process or firm's characteristic values and of unbroken data co mmunication. This again is a condition that is required for any entrep reneurial strategy aimed at good economic results and also applies to different types of firm within the meat industry.
