Abstract
The authors examine the public policy literature in marketing during t he 1980s and early 1990s. The articles are classified using a three-pa rt framework-conceptual, methodological, and substantive. The authors analyze work published in the Journal of Public Policy & Marketing and other major marketing journals and draw implications for further publ ic policy research.
