Abstract
The design of an electromechanical breathing mask that minimizes parti cle loss during inhalation of aerosols from a provocation box is descr ibed. The device measures air flow by means of an anemometer. A provoc ation example is depicted and the possibility of measuring the provoca tion dose is discussed. The breathing device here described has been s hown to be easy to use and to give reliable results.
