Abstract
The luminescence and nonlinear optical properties of perovskite-like n iobates and titanates are reported and discussed in relation with othe r perovskite-like compounds. It is found that the nonlinear optical pr operties of these compounds can be predicted rather reliably by consid ering both the structure and the luminescence properties.
