Abstract
This paper discusses the presence of non-lethal common cause shock fai lures (NCS failures) in system reliability analysis. The system reliab ility measures availability (A(+)(t)) and frequency of encountering th e different states, is developed for a non-identical two component rep airable system which is affected by NCS failures in addition to indivi dual failures. Numerical illustrations are included in this paper.
