Abstract
An arrangement for the measurement of velocity and direction of wind i s presented. The arrangement consists of foul airflow sensors, orienta ted in north, east, south and west direction, so that the components o f wind velocity from these directions can be detected. Thus, with the output signals of the sensors and the help of vector algebra, it is po ssible to determine the resultant velocity and direction of wind.
