Abstract
The paper discusses the performance and reliability analysis of the na ptha fuel oil system in a thermal power plant. Reliability, the availa bility function (A(v)) and the mean time to system failure (MTSF) of t his system have been calculated. An example follows, assuming various values of failure and repair rate.
