Abstract
In the present work, the bending vibrations of a camshaft of cam with a roller follower mechanisms have been investigated in the solution mo del, torsional deformations of the camshaft have been neglected and al so, angular velocity of the camshaft has been considered as a constant . The obtained Mathieu differential equation has been simplified regar ding the practical applications and solved. The results have been disc ussed with a numerical example.
