Abstract
SmTe films were prepared by electrodeposition from aqueous solutions u sing tartaric acid as a complexing agent on a variety of substrates: s tainless steel, copper, brass, titanium and fluorine-doped tin oxide ( FTO) coated glass. Films were characterized by examining their X-ray d iffraction, optical absorption and micrographs.
