The velocity of longitudinal and transverse ultrasonic waves in four d
ifferent compositions of (MoO3)x (TeO2)1-x glass system (x=0.2, 0.3, 0
.45, 0.5) have been measured at room temperature using the pulse echo
technique. The velocity data have been used to determine the elastic m
oduli, Debye temperature and Poisson's ratio for each composition. The
results indicate that the elastic moduli depend upon the composition
of the prepared glass.
