Abstract
The Job Characteristics Model of Motivation, developed by Hackman and Oldham, proposed interactive relationships between job characteristics , psychological states and worker motivation. The Job Diagnostic Surve y (JDS) has provided a useful diagnostic tool for business settings. T his project tested the utility of the JDS to diagnose factors affectin g teachers' motivation.
