The study of the CuO-Bi2SrO4 pseudobinary phase diagram was carried ou
t in order to determine the liquidus curves of CuO, Bi2SrO4 and Bi2+xS
r2-yCuO6+gamma phases occurring in this part of the BiO1.5-SrO-CuO ter
nary system. Particular attention was paid to the determination of the
primary crystallization field of the latter phase with regard to its
importance for the crystal growth.
