Abstract
This study examined the perceptions of early childhood intervention pr ofessionals toward the integration of special services into regular cl assrooms, rather than through segregated, pullout approaches. A mail s urvey of occupational therapists, physical therapists, special educato rs, and speech-language pathologists asked (a) what practitioners perc eived as their typical and ideal practices and (b) what influenced the ir choices of service-delivery models. Multiple-regression analyses we re used to determine how choice of models for different situations pre dicted the extent to which respondents used integrated practices. Resu lts showed that special educators were most likely to use and favor in tegrated services, followed by occupational therapists, speech-languag e pathologists, and physical therapists.
