GROWTH AND CHARACTERIZATION OF SULFATE MIXED L-ARGININE PHOSPHATE ANDAMMO NIUM DIHYDROGEN PHOSPHATE POTASSIUM DIHYDROGEN PHOSPHATE MIXED-CRYSTALS

Our investigations on the growth of the mixed crystals of L-arginine p hosphate sulphate and ammonium dihydrogen phosphate (ADP/KDP) are pres ented. The structural, mechanical, electrical and optical properties o f L-arginine phosphate sulphate (LAPS) crystals are discussed. Pure an d mixed crystals of KDP and ADP have been grown on KDP seeds for the e ntire range of compositions. The etch pits observed on the (100) plane of as-grown crystals revealed the preferential absorption on one of t he two components into the lattice.
