Abstract
Combined analysis of absorption and circular dichroism spectra provide s valuable information about electronic states of light-absorbing cent ers. The available experimental data on the circular dichroism, magnet ic circular dichroism, and absorption spectra are used to characterize the symmetry of low-lying electronic states in uranyl compounds.
