A total of 28 Turkish style dry sausages was investigated for the inci
dence of Listeria (L.) monocytogenes and the other Listeria spp. Only
11 (39%) samples was Listeria positive in which 5 (18%) of those were
L. monocytogenes while 8 (29%) of them were L. innocua. Quantitive ana
lysis of those samples showed that they were less than 100 CFU/g in a
sample.
