The dynamic stability investigation approach is used to analyze the co
nditions of elongated pore (negative crystal) formation and steady gro
wth. This approach involves the choice of some variable parameters of
the analyzed system (in this case, the diameter of pore and the gas co
ncentration inside the pore), the formulation of the set of dynamical
equations for these variable parameters, the linearization of these eq
uations and analysis of stability of the set of equations with respect
to Liapunov. The conditions of stable growth of elongated cylindrical
pores are determined.
