Abstract
In situ observation of CdI2 crystal growth from an aqueous solution is reported. We found for the first time that at a low supersaturation t he distance between successive steps in a spiral is inversely proporti onal to the supersaturation on the interface of crystal growing. This result can also be verified on the basis of the crystal growth theory.
