Abstract
The developed iterative algorithm is intended for calculating phase op tical elements capable to form Gauss-Hermite's or Gauss-Laguerre's mod es propagating at pregiven directions relative to the optical axis and with desired intensity distribution between the modes. The elements a re shown to be applicable as spatial filters for analyzing modal compo sition of light. The results of numerical calculation are discussed.
