Hr. Keller et Rc. Tapasak, HANDBOOK OF SCHOOL-BASED INTERVENTIONS - RESOLVING STUDENT PROBLEMS AND PROMOTING HEALTHY EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENTS - COHEN,JJ, FISH,MC, Journal of school psychology, 32(4), 1994, pp. 415-418
This book presents digests of numerous intervention and prevention str
ategies for a wide range of diverse problems with which school psychol
ogists are confronted. Perhaps its greatest value is the heuristic mer
it of the commentaries, which provide a wealth of ideas for possible i
ntervention extensions or for applied research questions. Individual a
nd systems-level variables must be considered when interventions are b
eing selected and implemented. The book's greatest limitation is the l
ack of explicit description of complex setting variables and means of
implementing interventions.
