Abstract
Single crystals of TGS were grown in silica gel using the solubility r eduction method. The laser Raman and FT-IR spectra of TGS and Zn-doped TGS crystals were recorded. The vibrational frequencies were assigned to the different modes of the pure and doped TGS crystals.
