Abstract
Real-time edge-enhanced image correlation using the incoherent readout of a dynamic hologram recorded in a BSO crystal is reported for the f irst time. A system is described which records the Fresnel transform o f the input signal in a BSO crystal; such a system exhibits good objec t discrimination in addition to the usual features of an incoherent co rrelator. Several experimental results are presented, and these are co mpared with computer simulations.
