Abstract
Single crystals of incommensurately modulated calaverite, with and wit hout silver were grown and analysed using different techniques. The mo dulation wave vectors of some well characterised samples were measured as a function of both composition and temperature. The thus obtained results were compared to known data of natural calaverite.
