Abstract
We describe a modernization of the Gerchberg-Saxton algorithm which is insensitive to noise and based on filtering the intensity by means of the Wiener optimal filter. The algorithm enables us to diminish essen tially the error in the phase retrieval as compared both with the stan dard algorithm and with the intensity filtration made by ''super-gauss ian window''. The results of numerical simulation have been reported.
