An automated immunosensor has been applied to the detection of Staphyl
ococcus aureus enterotoxin B in cream. It was capable of detecting the
toxin down to a level of 5 ng/g in approximately 10 min. This paper d
escribes the immunosensor method used and how it compares with convent
